Free Domain on Eligible Plans
The free domain comes with Premium and Unlimited on terms of 12 months or longer, and cloud plans include one too. It covers one domain per account for the first year. Fourteen extensions are free everywhere, including .com, .online, .site and .store, and in India the list adds .in, .co.in and .org.in. Premium extensions like .ai and .io are excluded.
After year one the domain renews at the regular price, which Hostinger shows before you buy. You can also transfer an existing domain in, but the free transfer does not apply to Single. The domain is locked for 60 days after registration, and if you cancel within the refund window, the domain’s registration cost is deducted from your refund.

Hostinger’s plan cards list a CDN on all four web and cloud plans, although some third-party plan breakdowns show it only on higher tiers, so check the compare table for your plan. Hostinger’s server locations page adds that its CDN reaches places without a data center, including Johannesburg, Japan and Sydney.
NVMe and SSD Storage
Both are fast, solid-state storage. NVMe is the newer type and reads and writes data much faster than standard SSD, which helps databases and busy WordPress sites. Single and Premium use SSD. Unlimited, Cloud and VPS plans use NVMe.
LiteSpeed Technology
LiteSpeed is the web server software Hostinger runs on its managed hosting. It handles many visitors efficiently and works with the LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress, which stores ready-made copies of your pages so the server does not rebuild them for every visit. Hostinger also offers object caching, which speeds up database-heavy pages.
hPanel Hosting Control Panel
hPanel replaces cPanel on Hostinger’s shared plans. You manage websites, email, databases, files, SSL and resource usage from one place. If you are moving from a cPanel host, expect a short learning curve. If you have never used a control panel, hPanel is easier to start with. On VPS plans, cPanel and other panels are available as one-click templates, and Hostinger lists VPS licenses as a separate, non-refundable product.

Hostinger’s AI Builder creates a site from a written description, and its website builder offers about 150 designer templates. Hostinger offers free migration with no fixed limit on the number of sites. Hostinger’s performance varies by location, website setup and testing conditions. Our own Site24x7 audit, combined with independent testing, gives a more useful picture than relying on a single speed score.
Hostinger Speed Test and TTFB
Our Site24x7 test on 29 September 2026 measured Hostinger from four locations. Total response times ranged from 142 ms in New York to 1,446 ms in Stockholm, while Fremont, California and Nagano, Japan both recorded 271 ms.
The average response time across all four locations was 532.5 ms, with an average TTFB of 73.5 ms. The Stockholm result was the main outlier, showing that server response can vary significantly depending on visitor location.
Independent testing also recorded competitive performance. Cybernews reported a 0.707-second TTFB, 1.87-second LCP and approximately 1.43-second Speed Index in its June 2026 test. These results use a different test setup, so they should not be directly compared with our Site24x7 measurements.
Hostinger Uptime
Hostinger advertises a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Independent monitoring has generally reported high availability, although testing periods and methods vary.
HostingStep recorded 99.98% uptime over 243 days on both Premium and Business test sites. All About Cookies reported 100% uptime during its nine-day test.

Bottom line: Hostinger delivered fast server responses in three of our four locations, but the Stockholm result shows that performance can vary by geography. For most buyers, server location, caching and CDN configuration are just as important as the hosting provider’s headline speed claims.
How Fast Is Hostinger for Visitors in India?
This is the question most Indian readers care about, and the evidence is thinner than you would expect. The big testers above probe from North America and Europe. Several India-focused review sites publish Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore numbers, but their figures contradict each other, ranging from a few dozen milliseconds to a few hundred, and at least one of them claims Hostinger has no data center in India. Hostinger’s own help center lists India as a location for web and cloud hosting, and its blog says the Mumbai facility is a Tier-3 data center. Given the conflict, we do not quote those India numbers.
What we can say with confidence is the principle. A server in Mumbai will usually respond faster to visitors in India than a server in Europe or the USA, and a CDN helps with cached files for visitors farther from Mumbai. So choose India as the Hostinger India server location during setup if most of your audience is in India.
Then test it yourself, which the 30-day refund window makes cheap to do. Publish a real page, run it through a speed testing tool with an India test location (GTmetrix offers a Mumbai option), and check TTFB and LCP a few times on different days. If the results disappoint you, you can still cancel for a refund.
Hostinger WordPress Performance
WordPress speed on Hostinger depends heavily on caching. With LiteSpeed Cache switched on, most visitors get a stored copy of the page rather than a freshly built one, which is why independent WordPress tests look good. The catch is that logged-in users, shopping carts and checkout pages usually skip the page cache and hit PHP directly. That is where PHP workers, CPU and RAM matter, and it is why a WooCommerce store feels the difference between Premium (40 workers) and Unlimited (60) or Cloud Startup (100).
What Can Affect Your Website Speed?
Your host is only one factor. A heavy theme, too many plugins, uncompressed images, third-party scripts, an outdated PHP version and a database full of old data can all slow a site down on any host. Distance matters too: the farther your server is from your visitors, the longer every request takes. Fix those before you blame the plan, and before you pay for a bigger one.

For priority support, Hostinger’s cloud page claims a median response time of one minute in English. That is Hostinger’s own figure, so treat it as a company claim.
Is Hostinger Support Available 24/7?
Yes. Hostinger describes its chat support as round the clock, every day. The Hostinger Agent widget also has a WhatsApp tab, so you can continue a conversation or receive notifications on WhatsApp. Availability is not the same as speed or depth, though. Complicated issues, such as a broken migration or an email deliverability problem, may take several exchanges.
Does Hostinger Offer Phone Support?
No phone number appears in Hostinger’s own list of support options, which are chat, WhatsApp and email. Users without an account can write to [email protected] or use the contact page.
