Hunting for the best Black Friday Semrush deals? This page tracks every Semrush Black Friday 2026 offer in one place, labels each one as live, historical or unconfirmed, and shows exactly what you’d pay on each plan. You get the deal status, the Cyber Monday dates and the math to decide whether to buy now or wait, without wading through recycled coupon pages.

How we verified this page

  • We checked Semrush’s official pricing page on October 23, 2026 for plans, prices and the trial.
  • We read Semrush’s affiliate program terms to understand which promotions partners can and can’t describe as discounts.
  • We cross-checked past Black Friday offers against named publishers and show the source and year beside each one.
  • We label anything we couldn’t confirm. The list is under “What we couldn’t verify” in the Final words section.

Semrush Black Friday Offer 2026: Live Deals, Past Deals and What to Expect

If you’ve searched for a Semrush Black Friday deal, a Semrush discount sale or a Semrush Cyber Monday coupon, you’ve probably seen a dozen pages promising different numbers. Some are recycled from last year. Some label a standard annual discount a “Black Friday exclusive.” This section sorts them out so you can see what’s actually on the table.

Use these status labels as you read:

  • Confirmed: verified against Semrush’s current official pricing.
  • Regular pricing: an ongoing offer, available any day of the year.
  • Historical: reported for a previous year, not a promise for 2026.
  • Not yet confirmed: no verified 2026 offer exists to report.

Why this matters when you’re ready to buy. The cheapest verified route today is simple: start a trial, then choose annual billing. If Semrush rolls out a seasonal promotion, you’ll be able to compare it against that baseline before paying. The easiest way to see Semrush’s current offer in one place is to open the Semrush offer page and check the plan cards directly.

Because past campaigns started before the holiday, keep this page bookmarked from early November, not just the week of Black Friday. In several reported years, the Semrush Black Friday Cyber Monday deals ran as one combined window rather than two separate sales.

Deal 1: Free Trial on Semrush SEO and AI Search Plans (Live Now)

A free trial is the lowest-risk way to start. Semrush currently offers a 7-day free trial on its SEO + AI Search plans. It’s time-limited access, not a coupon or a price cut, so treat it as a way to reduce risk, not cost.

Why a trial is worth using before any seasonal sale arrives:

  • You see your own data. Enter your domain and your top competitors, and judge the tool on your niche, not on a demo.
  • You learn which plan you need. The difference between 500 and 1,500 tracked keywords only matters once you’ve seen your own project.
  • You aren’t rushed. A trial removes the pressure to decide on a countdown timer.

Check the signup screen for the trial length, whether a payment method is required, and what happens when the trial ends. If you decide Semrush isn’t for you, cancel before the trial finishes.

A 7-day Semrush trial plan: what to test each day

Most people waste a trial by clicking around. Use this schedule to get a clear buy-or-skip answer in a week:

  1. Day 1: Add your site and run a Site Audit. Note how many issues it finds and whether the fixes are clear to you.
  2. Day 2: Research three topics you’d actually write about. Check whether the keyword ideas are better than what you already have.
  3. Day 3: Run a competitor comparison. Enter your two toughest rivals and look for terms they rank for that you don’t.
  4. Day 4: Set up Position Tracking. Add your most important keywords and confirm the device and location settings match your audience.
  5. Day 5: Review backlinks. Check your profile and a competitor’s, and see whether you’d act on what you find.
  6. Day 6: Check AI visibility. Run the AI visibility report on your domain and see how your brand shows up compared with a rival.
  7. Day 7: Score it and decide. Use the scorecard below, then pick a plan or cancel before the trial ends.

The buy-or-skip scorecard. Answer yes or no:

  • Did you find at least one action you’d take this month because of the data?
  • Will you use it at least weekly?
  • Does the plan’s website and keyword limit cover your real workload?
  • Would one extra client, sale or ranking win pay for the plan? (See the break-even table in Deal 3.)

If you answered yes to three or more, annual billing probably makes sense. If you answered yes to one or none, skip it for now or start with Semrush’s Free plan.

Semrush Starter Plan Free Trial: What You Can Test

Starter is the entry point for SEO plus AI search visibility. According to Semrush’s plan page, it includes:

  • 5 websites to monitor and 500 keywords tracked daily
  • Keyword research, optimization and competitor insight tools
  • MCP access
  • AI visibility tracking: 50 prompts daily, 1 domain for AI brand performance, 300 AI visibility reports per day, and an AI-ready Site Audit

It suits small teams, solo consultants and site owners who want both classic rankings and AI-search visibility under one login. Regular pricing is $199 a month, or $165.17 a month when billed annually.

Semrush Pro+ Plan Free Trial: What You Can Test

Pro+ is where the platform starts to feel agency-ready. It adds to Starter:

  • 15 websites and 1,500 daily keywords
  • Historical SEO data
  • Content optimization and keyword cannibalization analysis
  • Multi-location and multi-device tracking
  • 100 AI prompts tracked daily

Regular pricing is $299 a month, or $248.17 a month billed annually. If you manage several client sites or a growing portfolio, this is the tier where the annual saving gets large, which brings us to the third offer.

Deal 2: Extended 14-Day Trial, Black Friday 2025 History

Here is the historical part. In 2025, affiliate publishers reported that Semrush promoted extended 14-day trials around Black Friday, alongside the usual annual discount (see Cybernews’ 2025 coverage). Reports from that period describe 14-day trials on Semrush One and on the classic Pro plan, with the Guru plan getting 7 days.

Two cautions:

  1. Plan names have changed. Pro, Guru and Business have been replaced by SEO, Starter, Pro+ and Advanced. A “Guru trial” from last year doesn’t map neatly onto anything you can buy today.
  2. Longer trials aren’t universal. Semrush’s own pricing page advertises 7 days. Semrush’s affiliate program lists trial length among its partner perks, which helps explain why some sites show 14 days and others show 7. Whatever length you’re offered, the signup screen is the authority.

So treat a 14-day trial as a possibility, not a certainty. If your link shows a longer trial when you sign up, that’s a bonus. If it shows 7 days, you still get a full week with real data.

Earlier Black Friday campaigns, for context:

YearReported offerNotesStatus
202517% off annual plans plus extended 14-day trial; sale reported to begin Nov 24The 17% matches the standing annual savingHistorical
2024Buy a 1-month Pro plan and receive a free SEO consultation valued at $300; window ran Nov 11 to Dec 3 (99signals)A bundle, not a price cutHistorical
Earlier (year not stated)Annual Pro savings of up to about $500 and Guru up to about $900, plus 3 months of ContentShake AI free with 3 months of Pro; ended Dec 1 (TechRadar)Retired plan namesHistorical
Earlier (year not stated)40% off Guru for new users plus 500 extra keywords, Nov 14 to Dec 4 (Robbie Richards)One consultant’s deals page; no year givenHistorical

What the pattern tells you. Across these reports, Semrush’s seasonal offers have taken different forms: extended trials, annual savings, consultation bundles and bonus tools. Percentage-off headlines varied by year and by source. That’s useful for planning, since a trial or a bonus may matter as much as a discount, but it isn’t evidence of what 2026 will bring.

Why numbers conflict online. Some sites claim 30% to 50% off in 2025. An independent tracker found 2026 reports ranging from 17% to 40% with no Semrush announcement to settle it. The best-documented pattern is the 17% annual saving plus extended trials. Larger figures appear in certain years and sources, and we can’t verify them against a primary Semrush source, so don’t count on them.

How to spot an outdated Semrush Black Friday page

  • It mixes years, such as a 2026 title over 2025 pricing.
  • It uses retired plan names like Guru or Business as if you could buy them today.
  • It shows a “Verified” badge with no date or source.
  • It runs a countdown timer without naming an end date from Semrush.
  • It lists a coupon code you can’t see working at checkout.
  • It calls the standard annual discount a “Black Friday exclusive.”

If you see two or more of these, double-check the price on Semrush’s own pricing page.

Deal 3: Annual Plan Savings of Up to 17% (Live Now)

This is the saving you can verify today, and it’s the number to beat if a seasonal sale appears. Figures below come from Semrush’s pricing page (verified Oct 23, 2026). Totals, savings and per-day costs are our own arithmetic.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing (effective monthly)12-month total, annual12 months at monthly rateAnnual savingCost per day, annual

Annual plans are charged up front, so the “per month” figure is an effective rate, not a monthly bill.

Save Up to 17% on Semrush: The Real Math Behind the $609 Figure

That “$609” figure you’ve seen on other pages?

It’s the ordinary Pro+ annual saving ($609.96), not a Black Friday exclusive. It’s real money, but it’s available on any day of the year. If a page labels it a seasonal deal, it’s repackaging regular pricing.

What a better offer would be worth. If Semrush does announce a deeper promotion, the question is how much extra it saves beyond what you can already get. As plain arithmetic (not a prediction), every additional 5 percentage points off list price is worth about $83 a year on SEO, about $119 on Starter and about $179 on Pro+. Compare that with the cost of waiting weeks for data you could be using now.

Does Semrush pay for itself? A break-even check. Divide the annual cost by what one win is worth to you each month. These figures are hypothetical examples, not results Semrush or we can promise:

Should you buy now or wait for Black Friday?

  • Buy now if you have a live project, a client deadline or a content calendar that depends on keyword and competitor data. The annual saving is available today, and every week without data costs you decisions.
  • Wait if you’re still evaluating, your budget is tight until year-end, or you’d only log in occasionally. Waiting costs you nothing, and a trial lets you get ready in the meantime.
  • Middle path: start a trial around November 20 so the 7 days run up to Black Friday on November 27. Check what the trial converts to if you don’t cancel, and set a reminder. We haven’t verified that a new offer can be applied to a trial already running, so don’t assume it can.

Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday. In past years Semrush’s seasonal campaigns ran as multi-week windows, such as November 11 to December 3 in 2024, so the two days weren’t separate sales. Some sites claim Cyber Monday pricing is lower, but we found no primary-source evidence. If a 2026 campaign appears, compare plan coverage, eligibility, billing length and bonuses on each day, and don’t assume the later date is cheaper.

How to claim a Semrush deal, step by step:

  1. Open Semrush’s offer or pricing page through the Semrush offer link.
  2. Pick the plan that fits your site and keyword count.
  3. Check eligibility and billing frequency. Many offers apply to new accounts or annual billing only. Semrush’s affiliate FAQ notes that referral attribution requires a brand-new account, so assume partner-link offers target new users unless the page says otherwise.
  4. Review the final price, renewal terms and refund policy. We haven’t verified renewal pricing, so confirm it before paying.
  5. Complete the purchase only when the price on screen matches what you expected.

No coupon code is needed for the standard annual saving. If someone hands you a “Semrush Black Friday code,” enter it at checkout and see whether the price actually changes.

Five mistakes to avoid when buying Semrush on Black Friday

  1. Comparing monthly price to annual price without doing the math. Annual plans are charged up front, so look at the total.
  2. Buying Pro+ when SEO would do. Count your real websites and keywords first.
  3. Ignoring renewal terms. Check how and at what price your plan renews.
  4. Trusting a code or badge with no date. Verify the price on screen.
  5. Waiting so long you miss the data. A week of research can matter more than a few percentage points.

Overview of Semrush: Is It Worth Buying This Black Friday?

Semrush is an all-in-one platform for search visibility. Rather than stitching together separate tools for keywords, rankings, audits and backlinks, you work from one account. It has since extended into AI search: you can track how your brand appears across Google Search, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other platforms.

In its affiliate materials, Semrush says its data covers 28 billion keywords, 43 trillion backlinks and 808 million domain profiles across 142 geo databases. These are Semrush’s own figures, so treat them as marketing claims, but they show the scale the platform is built on.

What people use Semrush for:

  • Researching keywords and judging how hard they are to rank for
  • Analyzing competitors’ organic and paid strategies
  • Tracking rankings daily across devices and locations
  • Auditing technical issues on a site
  • Reviewing backlink profiles
  • Monitoring AI search visibility and brand mentions
  • Producing client-ready reports

SEO tools Black Friday: where Semrush fits

Shopping for Black Friday SEO tools usually means choosing between all-in-one suites and cheaper single-purpose tools. Semrush sits in the all-in-one camp, so the right comparison isn’t only price. Ask whether you’ll use keyword research, competitor data, rank tracking and AI visibility together. Other vendors run their own seasonal promotions and terms vary, so check each vendor’s page before assuming a deal exists. Our guide to the best SEO tools can help you shortlist.

Semrush vs. SE Ranking: which deal fits your budget?

SE Ranking is the budget alternative people most often compare with Semrush, and SE Ranking Black Friday searches tend to rise at the same time. We couldn’t open SE Ranking’s own pricing page during research, so the figures below come from independent 2026 reviews and may vary by region (some pages show euros). Verify them on SE Ranking’s site before deciding.

Semrush SEOSE Ranking Core
Annual price (effective monthly)$117.33About $103.20 (reported)
Monthly price$139About $129 (reported)
Websites / projects510 (reported)
Daily keywords tracked5002,000 (reported)
Free trial7 days14 days, reported no card required
Verified Black Friday 2026 offerNot yet confirmedNot yet confirmed

Plan structures differ, so keyword counts aren’t a like-for-like comparison. On annual billing the entry-level gap is about $14 a month, roughly $170 a year, based on these figures. Choose SE Ranking if budget and tracking limits matter most. Choose Semrush if data depth, competitor intelligence and a wider toolset matter more. We found no verified SE Ranking Black Friday discount for 2026 and won’t invent one. The most reliable way to settle it is to trial both on the same site.

Latest Updates of Semrush in 2026

Semrush has changed a lot recently, and some Black Friday pages still describe the old lineup. Based on its current pricing page:

  • New plan lineup: SEO, Starter, Pro+ and Advanced replace the older Pro, Guru and Business names.
  • AI visibility is built in: Starter and above track prompts daily across AI platforms, with 50 prompts on Starter, 100 on Pro+ and unlimited on Advanced.
  • AI on the entry plan: even the SEO plan includes performance tracking in AI search, AI sentiment monitoring, AI visibility reports for any domain and custom prompt monitoring.
  • AI-ready Site Audit: included on Starter.
  • MCP access: Starter includes it, letting you connect Semrush data to AI assistants.
  • Free plan: $0, with one demo project, 10 reports per day and basic AI visibility features.
  • Add-ons: extra users from $45 a month, plus Base Report ($10) and Pro Report ($20) for reporting.

Features of Semrush

Keyword research

Keyword research is where most people start. Semrush’s Keyword Magic Tool surfaces related terms, and its plans include keyword research and optimization tools that help you judge which topics are worth your time. Starter and Pro+ add deeper optimization. Pro+ also adds keyword cannibalization analysis, which is handy for content-heavy sites where several pages compete for the same query.

For a blogger or affiliate marketer, the practical payoff is picking topics with a realistic path to traffic instead of guessing.

Keyword Research
Keyword Research

Keyword Magic Tool results for a sample seed keyword.

Traffic analytics

Understanding a competitor’s visibility is half of SEO strategy. Semrush offers a free website traffic checker, and its Traffic & Market toolkit goes deeper for market analysis on a separate plan. For most SEO work, the competitor insight tools in the main plans are the place to begin, and they help you see which pages and topics are driving a rival’s visibility.

Other features

  • Position Tracking: daily rank monitoring, with multi-location and multi-device tracking on Pro+.
  • Site Audit: a crawl-based check for technical issues, with an AI-ready version on Starter and above.
  • Backlink analysis: review link profiles and find opportunities.
  • Content optimization: guidance for improving existing pages, available from Pro+.
  • AI visibility reporting: see how your brand appears in AI-generated answers.
  • Reporting add-ons: schedule and export reports for clients.

You don’t need every tool on day one. A trial is the quickest way to find the three or four you’ll actually use.

Pros and Cons of Semrush

Pros 👍

  • Everything in one place: keyword research, competitor analysis, rank tracking, audits, backlinks and AI visibility under one login.
  • Clear entry point: a Free plan plus a trial let you test before paying.
  • Scales with you: from 5 websites on SEO and Starter to 15 on Pro+ and 40+ on Advanced.
  • AI search coverage: AI visibility tracking is part of the plan lineup, not a separate tool you must hunt for.
  • Real annual saving: up to 17% off, which on Pro+ is $609.96 a year.
  • Add-ons when needed: team users and reporting can be added instead of forcing a plan upgrade.

Cons 👎

  • Not cheap: it costs more than some alternatives, including SE Ranking’s entry plan.
  • Limits at entry level: the SEO and Starter plans track 500 keywords daily, which can feel tight for larger projects.
  • Extras cost more: additional users and reports are paid add-ons.
  • A lot to learn: a broad toolset takes time to master, so use the trial to focus on what matters to you.
  • Seasonal deals aren’t guaranteed: a 2026 sale hasn’t been announced, so don’t plan a budget around a rumor.

Who should skip it for now: if you only need occasional rank checks or you’re at the very start of a new site, a cheaper tool or free options like Google Search Console and Semrush’s own Free plan may serve you better. See our guide to affordable SEO tools for options.

Who gets the most out of it: freelancers juggling client sites, agencies that need historical data, and content businesses with a real publishing schedule. No SEO tool guarantees rankings or revenue. Semrush gives you data, and results come from how you act on it.

FAQs on Semrush Black Friday 2026

  1. Does Semrush have a Black Friday deal in 2026? Semrush hasn’t confirmed a 2026 Black Friday sale yet. What’s live today is the 7-day trial and annual billing savings of up to 17%. We update this page when that changes.
  2. When is Semrush Black Friday 2026? Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026. Semrush hasn’t announced its sale dates. In 2024, a reported campaign ran November 11 to December 3, so seasonal offers can start before the holiday.
  3. When is Semrush Cyber Monday 2026? Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30, 2026. Whether Semrush runs a separate Cyber Monday offer hasn’t been announced.
  4. What was the Semrush Black Friday deal last year? Publishers reported 17% off annual plans plus extended 14-day trials in 2025. Treat that as history, not a promise for 2026.
  5. How much can you save on Semrush? The confirmed saving is annual billing: $260.04 a year on SEO, $405.96 on Starter and $609.96 on Pro+ versus paying monthly. Any additional seasonal saving is unconfirmed.
  6. Does Semrush offer a Black Friday coupon code? No valid 2026 code has been verified. The standard annual saving doesn’t require one, so treat any code you can’t see working at checkout as unreliable.
  7. Will Semrush offer a free trial during Black Friday 2026? A 7-day trial is available now. Extended 14-day trials were reported in 2025, and your signup screen shows the length you’ll actually get.
  8. Can existing Semrush customers use Black Friday offers? It depends on the promotion. Many partner-link offers apply to new accounts, so check eligibility on the offer page.
  9. Is Semrush cheaper during Black Friday or with annual billing? Right now, annual billing is the only confirmed saving. A Black Friday offer would have to beat it to be worth waiting for.
  10. Which Semrush plan should I choose? SEO suits freelancers and small sites. Starter adds AI visibility tracking for small teams. Pro+ suits consultants and agencies who need 15 websites, historical data and 1,500 daily keywords.
  11. Is SE Ranking cheaper than Semrush? Based on independent 2026 reviews, SE Ranking’s entry plan costs roughly $14 a month less on annual billing and tracks more keywords. We found no verified SE Ranking Black Friday offer for 2026.
  12. Should I wait until Black Friday to buy Semrush? Wait only if you aren’t under time pressure. If you need the data now, the annual saving is already available.
  13. Is Semrush worth it for a small blog? It can be if you publish regularly and will act on the data. Start with the Free plan or the trial, and use the break-even table above to test whether the cost makes sense for you.
  14. How do I know if a Semrush Black Friday page is outdated? Look for mixed years, retired plan names like Guru, “Verified” badges with no date, and countdown timers with no source. Confirm the price on Semrush’s own pricing page.
  15. Where can I find the latest verified Semrush deal? Start with Semrush’s pricing page or use the Semrush offer link, and bookmark this page for updates.
  16. Are other SEO tools running Black Friday deals? Many software vendors run seasonal promotions, but terms vary and we haven’t verified other vendors’ 2026 offers. Check each vendor’s own page, and see our best SEO tools guide to build a shortlist.

Final Words: Is the Semrush Black Friday Deal Worth It?

Semrush is a strong all-in-one choice if SEO drives revenue for you. The savings you can confirm today are the annual discount of up to 17%, worth up to $609.96 a year on Pro+, and a free trial that lets you test the platform on your own site. A seasonal Black Friday sale is possible, but it isn’t confirmed, so the smartest approach is to compare any 2026 offer against that baseline before you pay.

If you need keyword and competitor data now, there’s little reason to delay. A trial lets you test everything on your own site at no cost if you cancel before it ends, the annual saving is already built in, and any seasonal offer can be compared on the same screen. Start a trial, follow the 7-day plan above, choose the plan that fits, and pick annual billing if you plan to stay. If you can wait, bookmark this page and check back during the Black Friday to Cyber Monday window, from November 27 to November 30.

  • SE Ranking’s own pricing and promotions (we couldn’t open its pages, so figures are from independent 2026 reviews).
  • Renewal pricing after the first term.

  • Claims of 30% to 50% off in past years, which no primary Semrush source confirms.
